What a lovely surprise!
While we came to school this morning, we saw a delightful nest in our garden! Only, there were no birds anymore. So, we decided to become Oology scientists and study it! The size was very big and it was quite heavy. We noticed that it was made from many long, brown twigs and there was also grass between the layers. We came to the conclusion that large birds must have lived and built it. After this interesting moment outside in the open, we went back into our classroom and learned how birds build their nests on the Lim. Then, we wrote about it in our CLIL Science exercise books. How lucky we were to see such a wonderful gift from nature today! (Maria Ausiliatrice Primary School – 3rd Class)
Arrivati a scuola questa mattina, abbiamo visto un delizioso nido nel nostro giardino! Solo che era vuoto. Quindi, abbiamo deciso di diventare scienziati di Oologia e studiarlo! Il nido era molto grande ed era piuttosto pesante. Abbiamo notato che era composto da molti ramoscelli lunghi e marroni e c’era anche erba tra i vari strati. Siamo giunti alla conclusione che devono averci vissuto e devono averlo costruito dei volatili piuttosto grandi. Dopo questo momento interessante all’aperto, siamo tornati nella nostra classe e abbiamo imparato come gli uccelli costruiscono i loro nidi grazie alla Lim. Poi ne abbiamo parlato nei nostri quaderni di CLIL Science. Che fortuna abbiamo avuto oggi avendo visto un dono così meraviglioso della natura! (3^ Primaria Maria Ausiliatrice)
